What John Haas doesn't like about Mama's Pizza:
Just finished a family gathering/celebration of about 20 people. We have done this once or twice before and had an ok experience. Today was very different. Owner or manager was stand offish and difficult at every turn. Lost part of our order and denied it/argued. I appreciate that this is a hybrid/counter service restaurant. The pizza was quite basic and greasy, and the mushrooms seemed to be canned rather than fresh. The bathrooms were not clean either. The service was adequate.
The best pizza in Omaha comes with an amazing lunch special! I can’t stop thinking about the sauce—it’s the best I’ve ever tasted!
