I can’t remember if I’ve left a review previously but the fact it didn’t pop up makes me think I didn’t. This place is a hidden gem. I ate it all in the car it was so good couldn’t even wait to get home. Someone is visiting out of state and I said we MUST share the veggie platter here. It’s worth driving out of the way to Gresham for this authentic service and food. View all feedback.
I can’t recommend Try Me! enough. The food is absolutely fantastic: made fresh and with care. The owners are incredibly kind and talented culinary wizards. I’ve ordered takeout here many times during COvID and the quality is on par with what you’d get dining in. A true hidden gem in Gresham and the Portland area at large.Food: 5/5
The food was delicious! The seasoning was just the right amount of spice without being overwhelming. I would definitely return here.Food: 5/5
I haven 't had Ethiopian since moving to the PNW and so my son and I made a plan to grab some while I was visiting him in Portland for the weekend. At the first bite it immediately took me back to the first time I had it in Salt Lake. The combo of the sour from the injera and the spices from the various stews is perfection.Try Me has definitely earned it 's rating on Google, it was fantastic. I didn 't want to stop eating, even when I was full.Edit: I misread the spend amount and have updated it to reflect per-person.
Try Me! was recommended by several people and didn’t disappoint! Ordered the #5 meat and veggie combo. Everything was so, so flavorful. Can’t recommend enough!Food: 5/5
This phenomenal restaurant is hidden away in a Gresham strip mall. Don't let that scare you away. The interior is very cozy and the food is incredible. The tej (honey wine) is made in house and is served in a traditional berele, which you can see represented in many of the traditional Ethiopian paintings that adorn the walls. Trust the name of the restaurant: this is a restaurant you should try!
