This place is amazing! My husband and I went for the first time tonight. I had the Papas perfect pasta and my husband had the gnocchi. Both exceeded expectations. We also enjoyed a few Moscow mules which were just as impressive and listened to some karaoke which was a lot of fun. Overall I would highly recommend for a fun delicious night out! What Kyle Bistline dislikes about Spinella's:
EDIT: Visit two wasnt as good, I'm not sure if something changed but the food was bland, both of the dishes that were ordered. Chicken Parm was underwhelming and the Mac and cheese didn't have any flavor. It was a bit sad. Family and I ate here and we loved it. Chill atmosphere, good food and decent prices. First let me say that I can’t find one thing about this establishment that is bad. We had an early dinner tonight, my wife and I. She had the Paps’s perfect pomodora and I had the bell tower burger. We also had an appetizer cheese curds let me say if I could have given more stars this place would definitely deserve it. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. You can tell they take pride in their food. While we both were full, there’s always room for dessert. We had the Panna Cotta mocha. This definitely did not disappoint and was amazing. We met the owner and is a very nice gentleman. To anyone reading this , you definitely need to check it out. Spinellas on 436 N main ave in Gresham Oregon. Also for the people in the reviews that said food took too long to arrive at the table. I say didn’t your parents teach you patience. Remember this, delicious and amazing food takes time and you never rush it. My wife and I will definitely be back and have found an amazing hidden gem. Keep doing what your doing and thank you for a wonderful meal and experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had an amazing experience! It took us about 10 mins to get a table and about 30 minutes for food after we ordered, but the wait was totally worth the food! But we suggest getting an appetizer if you are starving, and making reservations if you aredining with more than 4 people. The food was mouth-watering and the drinks were good and strong! I had the artichoke heart, mushroom, garlic pasta and it was splendid! Made to order and an instant favorite of mine! We'll definitely be coming back totry the other dishes very soon!
Best atmosphere, cocktails, food, and people in Gresham! I love coming here. I feel like I'm home away from home. I have tried so many different items on the HUGE menu and I have never been disappointed. They also have a massive cocktails list which areso delicious! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! We love you, Spinellas!
Late post! We went out to dinner a couple of months ago. The food was absolutely delicious and you receive large portions. I love the play on words menu. I can’t wait to come back to listen to the live music.
The fun starts when you enter the front doors of this converted church and begin to take in all the visual details, from the classic old bar to the 'paint night ' artwork proudly displayed on the walls. The wait staff and bartender were friendly andattentive and got us started with menus and drinks as soon as we picked out a table. Speaking of the menu, not only was it fullof great food options, but it was a hoot to read with offerings like Oh My Cod, Sweet Cheesus, and Invoke the Artichoke. I hadthe Alaska cod and was pleasantly surprised by the unique flavors in the beer batter coating and house-made tartar sauce.
We 've been twice so far, and it is flippin ' fantastic! Can 't say enough good things about the creative and fun menu, the flavor and quality of the food, and how awesome the staff is. They have wonderful pasta dishes, great burgers, and some mac 'n cheesethat is ridiculously tasty. It 's in an old church, and there 's a lot of great artwork and kitchy stuff on the walls, lovelyatmosphere. It 's a great way to spend a couple of hours and enjoy some (really good! beer and a tremendous meal.

Had a nice time on a date here. Atmosphere was fun with karaoke happening, wall decor and overall interior space neat. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Music was a little loud for the space. Food was excellent. A bit of a problem with checking ID when everyone had already been setved Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
We all enjoyed our food, stairs were a little difficult for seniors in the group. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Caesar Salad, Burger
I wanted pasta, and love trying new places so I picked here! So happy we did. I looked at their menu online and was set to get the Papas Perfect, and let me tell you it was perfect my husband got Let’s Hash it Out and he loved that as well. The side salad is a good portion and I liked the mix of greens instead of just lettuce. The ranch was really good. It was Wednesday Karaoke night which we didn’t realize but a pleasant surprise. It’s fun watching people sing. Staff was very attentive, friendly, even with a smaller crowd and came to get our empty plates quickly. We got a raspberry white chocolate panna cotta for dessert.. I’ve never tried something like this before, we gobbled it up. Can’t wait to visit again!! Whoops. Updating as I certainly wrote for the wrong place the first time. This location is in a church and has a lot of potential but might be better in the summertime. We came on a karaoke night and it seemed to be the same 5/6 locals singing and not all that well. Probably wouldn’t come back on a karaoke night. Art work was interesting to say the least. Menu was so big and generally confusing to read. Food was good, loved the loaded tots. But the servers seemed a little overwhelmed and kept forgetting parts of our order, like water. Saw the outside patio as we left and am certainly that is great in the summer. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Everytime I've gone, it's been a fantastic experience. Even when things when slightly awry they were super nice and got things fixed super quick. I always leave happy and with good memories from here. Dietary restrictions: If you have an allergy, they are really good at being as accommodating as possible.
Spinellas is my all time favorite restaurant. The staff are super fun and granted, I have been going there since they opened, they've always remembered me and my kiddos from day one. The food.... Y'all... It is the best everrrrr. I'm a pasta weirdo and their made to order pasta is top notch. Their menu is extensive as well. I love the creative way they name their menu items and drinks. My kids who have always been almost as picky as I am about food, love spinellas too and have always ate every last bite of their meals there which is a big deal in our house (they usually eat like birds, just a bite here or there throughout the day, rarely ever sit and finish a meal) spinellas has always been welcoming to my family. Even though we've moved 200+ miles away we still carve out time to eat at spinellas whenever we're in the area. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly until 9pm, then it's party time.
This is my favorite place for food and drinks. When I was 6 months pregnant with my twins, my husband wanted to take me somewhere I loved for food. During this time, I was experiencing extreme food aversions. I basically struggled to eat anything that wasnt fruit or beef jerky. But I wanted a burger so bad. So we went. My pregnancy brain was so picky, so I asked the waiter to customize my burger so the nines. It was definitely not a burger on the menu, but the waiter was so unbelievably patient with me when I placed my order, and cracked a few jokes to ease my nerves for being so particular. Food came out, and the chef had explained how he made it and how much he hoped I would enjoy it. Unfortunately my twins only allowed me to eat so much before the nausea kicked in, so I was unable to finish my meal. A waitress this time came up to me and asked me if my food was okay. I explained that it was absolutely delicious, but my twins were not having it at the moment. She was so sweet and genuine, and came back with a $10 gift card. She even left a little note on it to come back after I gave birth so I could enjoy their drinks. We came back some time later, with our twins in tow. And have been multiple times since. They are amazing and we love the food, the employees, the drinks, everything. I recommend this place to everyone I know!

The restaurant owners, managers, and staff should consider putting themselves in the shoes of their customers. While I enjoy the burgers at this establishment, the atmosphere is not very welcoming. The sign that says "Don't touch the curtains" is confusing - I wasn't planning on touching them until I saw the sign, but I refrained. Perhaps they should consider installing blinds instead. The $15 cheeseburger, which comes with an extra charge for fries, is decent but the ketchup is disappointing. It has a strange taste, possibly from a spice like nutmeg, and it's not the good quality. It doesn't have to be a premium brand like Portland Ketchup, but at least upgrade to Heinz. The music in the dining area was overshadowed by the loud kitchen music, which made the dining experience less enjoyable. Overall, despite the great burger, I couldn't wait to leave the restaurant.

A very nice place! I love the unique name on the menu and lots of choices! I got the 'I don 't smoke but my salmon does ' and my friend order 'shrimply Irresistible '! Both pasta dishes werevery good and tasty!! Great service too!!
At the moment, this restaurant is only accepting reservations. They offer outdoor seating with live music. The waitress kindly checked for cancellations or no-shows before we left, allowing us to have a great experience. The menu names are impressive and everything we tried was delicious. Both the Cheesus sandwich and shrimp castello were outstanding. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes, making sure to reserve a table in advance.
Great food. Genuine staff. Second time there, and again had the papa’s pasta. Creamy and comforting. I’ll pass on karaoke on Friday nights…too loud for my liking.
Spinella's offers excellent food made with fresh, homemade ingredients. The drinks are equally delightful, and it's a unique experience to enjoy them within a church setting. Be sure to get your tickets early for their live music nights, as they often sell out fast. The menu is thoughtfully crafted, and there is also patio seating available.

So we let our son choose based on what he was in the mood for. It happened to be Mac N Cheese. We hadn?t tried Spinellas so we decided to give them a chance. We are so glad we did. Besides the menu being entertaining, the flavor combinations are so unique and work well together. The portions are perfect. Their stout was smooth. A very relaxed atmosphere and great service. They make their sauces in-house making it totally worth the wait which wasn?t really any different than what you?d wait elsewhere. We will definitely be back. So many other items I can?t wait to try. ?
Best atmosphere, cocktails, food and people in Gresham! I love coming here. I feel like home. I have tried so many different articles on the menu HUGE and I have never been disappointed. You also have a huge cocktail list that is so delicious! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! We love you, Spinellas!
