I showed her the big picture of it, but she explained that the menu had changed and that they would be getting new menus soon. For now, the menu was outdated. I ended up ordering something else, while my husband chose the crispy chicken salad. When our food arrived, my husband found grilled chicken on his salad instead of the crispy chicken he had ordered. The server took it back to fix, but it didn't return until I had already finished my entire meal. The server did apologize and didn't charge us for the salad, which was nice. Regarding my burger, it also seemed quite small, leading me to believe that they have significantly downgraded the size of their burgers. Given these experiences, I would definitely hesitate to return to this restaurant again.

However, my server, who I believe was named Francisco, provided excellent customer service and made me feel at ease. He even managed to make me smile, which contributed to an overall positive experience.

The burger patty looked like it had been squashed and was burnt beyond recognition. I specifically ordered the Haystack Tavern burger without campfire sauce and with added ketchup, which is clearly stated on the receipt. Instead, I received a Haystack Tavern burger with added ketchup and an excessive amount of lettuce. This is now the eighth different Red Robin location I've tried for takeout, and they all seem to mess up my order in the same way. I'm just done with this brand. How can they charge $11 for a burger when I could get a better one at Wendy's for less? It's ridiculous that they even ask for a tip, which I did end up giving!

Most of the time they get my order correct, but on the times they don't it's miserable. Today they got it wrong, but they replaced it quickly so I'll give them a good job on that. However, when I got home and put the fries on a pan to refresh them they are really bad. Half are light brown and crispy (like they should be), the other half are dark brown, hard, and completely inedible. I don't mind if my fries sit for a under the warmer for a bit while they're preparing my order, what I do mind is when you cook my fries in oil that is so old and burnt that I can't even eat them. Please please please change your days and days old oil!!! I can practically smell the carcinogens! Hopefully next time will be better. -Really disappointed fry lover

Waitin... read more What happened to Red Robin? It used to be a fantastic place, but it has really declined, and we haven't been back to the Gresham location in a long time. Waiting three hours is just unacceptable. The food was mediocre at best, and our poor waitress looked overwhelmed while other tables faced problems like burnt dishes and other issues. We waited over 30 minutes for a table even though the restaurant was half-empty. It took another 20 to 30 minutes before anyone came to take our drink orders. Our drinks and food took ages to arrive, and I had to repeatedly ask for refills. It definitely seems like they are understaffed. That said, kudos to our waitress—she did her best despite the difficult situation.

Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. My aunt’s burger was pink in the middle, all three of our fry orders were cold, and my dad's burger also had a pink center. To make matters worse, two tables that were seated after us and ordered after us received their meals before we did. We were informed that they had run out of fish and crispy chicken and hadn’t received their delivery. This was by far the worst dining experience I've ever had at Red Robin.

The manager stopped honoring their free birthday burger promise, always coming up with new excuses when we asked. Sometimes they argued that you had to buy the most expensive burger or gave other reasons. In the past year, it’s no longer about shortcuts—the burgers have gotten downright awful. Honestly, it’s the worst burger experience I’ve ever had. We only visit now if we’re getting a free burger because the food is so bad. On top of that, you have to wait up to an hour for your order. Don’t expect endless fries either—you get just a few, and if you ask for more, you’ll wait forever. Other Red Robin locations are much better than the one in Gresham. I won’t be coming back here; I’d rather travel farther for better food and service. The long wait times and poor service clearly stem from poor management decisions. They haven’t handled the pandemic well and seem more focused on cutting costs at our expense. No thanks.

We came right before a rush this evening (Friday) and we got everything in such a timely manner! Everyone was really nice, and it seemedlike all the other diners were happy as well. The atmosphere in the bar area was nice. The only critique we would have is withthe fondue you can get as a side, it would be better to have it in a little ceramic dish instead of a plastic cup. It warped thecup and possibly affected the taste because it was just a little weird. But other than that we were super happy tonight.
