Was Cory Zavoskey at Flying Pie Pizzeria a mag?
This has been my husband’s and my favorite restaurant since we relocated to Portland in the 1970s. The staff is outstanding and always polite. The food is consistently delicious and perfectly cooked, with a delightful crispy crust. We truly enjoy bringing our family and friends here. View all feedback.

Their Miss Piggy is by far one of the best pizzas. We chose flying pie because we've never had bad service or a bad pizza. A

It's OK, we went here for my son's birthday and it took over an hour for 1 pizza dinning in... for the price again just ok... it wasn't even busy.
If they added any more toppings to the pizza, it would be overwhelming.
These pizzas are generously loaded with toppings! They really don’t skimp on ingredients, making it a great value for the price. However, the crust was a bit overcooked and lacked flavor. If you're not particular about crust, this place will definitely satisfy your cravings.
Flying Pie stands out in Gresham for its generously topped, flavorful pizzas that many consider the best in town. While prices are higher than typical fast-food chains, the quality and portion size justify the cost, with toppings often twice as dense. The crispiness varies with the number of toppings, but the taste remains consistently delicious. Complementary offerings like outstanding breadsticks and a fresh salad bar enhance the meal. However, recent concerns about declining food safety and management have tempered some patrons’ enthusiasm, suggesting the need for renewed focus on quality control to maintain its loyal following.

I occasionally order pizza from this restaurant, and it's always been great. One day, I called to place an order and noticed some background noise during the call. When my pizza arrived, it was smaller than what I had ordered. The staff apologized and quickly made me a new pizza in the largest size available. To top it off, they gave me the smaller pizza for free! I offered to pay for it, but they refused to accept my money. This left me a bit puzzled since it was their mistake, but I truly appreciated their dedication to customer satisfaction and the quality of service they provide. I’ll definitely be coming back more often! While I don't expect free pizza every time, it's nice to know they genuinely care about their customers.
Always amazing! When you choose three toppings, your pizza has a nice crispiness to it. However, if you go for five or more toppings, it can be challenging to get them all crispy. Nevertheless, both options are delicious. The breadsticks are outstanding, and the salad bar is definitely the healthiest part of my meal!

Incredible pizza! I've been a fan of the original Stark location since the '90s. This was my first visit to this spot, and while the decor isn’t as lively, the pizza is just as perfect.
The pizzas at Flying Pie Pizzeria are a bit pricey but packed with toppings! They definitely don’t hold back. Each slice is hefty and filling. Our group of 7 adults and 5 kids ordered 3 large pizzas, expecting some leftovers for a day or two, but we ended up with enough for three days. Delicious!

Wow! There are plenty of toppings to choose from, and they’re all delicious. The meal was very satisfying and almost worth the price. There's something for everyone, including a salad bar, which I absolutely love. My only complaint is that the dough was a bit overcooked and came out very crisp, making it tough to chew.
We used to love their pizza, but the quality has really declined over the past year. The last time I went to pick up a pizza, I noticed an employee refilling a half-empty container of feta cheese. The cheese at the bottom was completely moldy, yet they simply topped it off and put the container back. I won't be ordering pizza from here anymore.
On November 17th, 2022, at 6:00 PM, my group was denied service simply because we were a party of 8 adults and 3 children. The staff kept saying, "Sorry, we can’t accept walk-in parties." I clarified that we were a group, not a party, but they insisted they couldn’t accommodate us due to being understaffed. I asked if they could at least make 2 or 3 pizzas, but again, the response was that they were understaffed. This information came from a polite young man who asked his manager—who I can only assume was a "Karen"—if we could join 2 tables together. The manager gave us a disdainful look and walked away without explaining the situation herself. Essentially, we were told, "Sorry, you can’t order pizza at a pizza place," even though there were other customers dining in and picking up pizzas at that time. I’m giving this experience two stars because I have always enjoyed their food and service in the past. However, under the current management, I will no longer be patronizing or recommending this location.
This is likely the best pizza place in Gresham. While it is pricier than your typical fast-food pizza chains, you definitely get your money's worth. The toppings are much more generous and satisfying, often 2-3 times denser than what you would find at those quick-service spots.
I've consistently had fantastic experiences with the staff at Flying Pie. Additionally, this is one pizzeria where you don't have to ask for extra pepperoni! A regular pepperoni pizza is generously topped with enough pepperoni to satisfy any meat lover. I really love this place!

This is probably the best pizza place in Gresham. Although it may be more expensive than your average fast-food pizza joints, the quality justifies the price. The toppings are more generously applied, making each slice truly satisfying.
I’m rating this place two stars because I have previously enjoyed the food and service. Unfortunately, due to the current management, I can no longer recommend this location.
We used to really love their pizza, but the quality has dropped in the past year. The last time I picked one up, I noticed an employee refilling a half-empty container of feta cheese. The cheese at the bottom was completely moldy, yet they sealed it up and put it back on the shelf. I won't be returning for pizza here again.
