We enjoyed the Arabian Breeze Mezza, the Veggie Kabob plate, baklava and a whole lot of fresh pita bread. We were in awe of the flavors of everything. Nicholas was one of our favorite spots and actually catered our wedding before we were vegan but I can honestly say the meal we had most recently was our favorite of all time.
I ordered Lebanese Lentil Soup and Arabian Breeze Mezza. The delicious soup is served with pita chips. The Arabian Breeze Mezza includes hummus, muhamra, caramelized onions mixed with tahini, majadra, fried cauliflower, and falafel. It's a great way to try multiple items. Everything was flavorful, but not spicy. Tip: Don't order too much because they serve fresh, hot pita bread for free!
Great food with huge portions! Also, a sidenote, it's great to find a Middle Eastern restaurant with feta made with goat's milk considering the majority of Middle Eastern people are lactose intolerant. Thank you to the restaurant for that. The pita wasperfect, the hummus fresh, the baklava flaky and the salad crisp. I'll be visiting again and I recommend checking it out if youhaven't yet.
We have been going to Nicholas in Gresham since it opened this location (there?s another in Portland) in 2010. The team who runs this are friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and is part of a renaissance of new and diverse restaurants coming toGresham in the past several years. Authentically Lebanese, we love everything on the menu. The pineapple daiquiris were themost popular cocktails for our group. We love the rice pudding for dessert. This location was just remodeled and we werefortunate enough to be invited to the re-opening party. It looks even more fabulous and inviting!
