The manager looked at us with clear bias and told us they were about to close, even though other guests were still eating. Something felt wrong. To test, we left and called back to ask for a reservation at 9:45 PM, and they accepted. When we returned, the same manager shamelessly assumed we were someone else—apparently expecting “white” clients, not us, two Black people he had just rejected a minute earlier. He did not even want to apologies, This behavior was discriminatory, humiliating, and absolutely unacceptable. It is shameful that such treatment still happens.
