Served in canteen-type plates... read more I can only confirm the previous notices following a family lunch yesterday noon. Very basic salads, no effort, no sauce, no taste. Served in canteen-type plates with dirty cutlery. and say fries accompanying the children's menus. the seeds of potatoes were still apparent. Hygiene is a shame. toilet, interior, kitchen, everything seems to be left to abandon so dirt reigns everywhere.A shame. a disrespect of customers.

I'm not going to talk about my appearances, but they felt like they were close to mine. the frame: on the edge of a pleasant garden/park of city center. deco : basic see nonexistent, covered in paper cases, no tablecloth. service: friendly but long and not professional. cleanliness: quite passable. kitchen: I took a campagnard salad, a basic hard to miss will tell me you. and well with a huge amount of low-quality salad, a handful of low-end roasted gruyère, bacon that are not more. How do you want to make a nice plate? even the hard egg didn't inspire quality... To avoid.

We couldn't taste the kitchen, the waiter didn't pay any attention, so we left.

It's a lovely place to sit and relax, with old tr... read more We popped in for a beer and sat on the terrace overlooking the park. We watched the pétanque game in progress. It's a lovely place to sit and relax, with old trees, birdsong, and breathtaking views of the Bastille. The owner, Thierry, was taking part and was very pleasant when we had had a chat with him and his friends later. The following day as we strolled past the street entrance, Thierry spotted us, and invited us in for a drink and another nice chat. We were so taken with the place we booked for an evening meal the following day. The restaurant was busy, but we were treated royally with a welcome drink, and chose from the extensive menu. The food was excellent, the service impeccable and the chef even came out to ensure everything was ok. We stayed on after our meal for further drinks with Thierry, his staff and friends, enjoying a fabulous evening. We can't recommend L'Etage highly enough.
