We arrive at 11:55 a.m. the staff is watching us try to open the door without moving. So we make a little turn and come back...Having a good fork I ask the server if it is possible to take 12 mezze to 35 euros per person the latter answers me rather dryly than for 2 it is 10 mezze to 30 euros per person bar. OK. the 10 mezze arrive on 5 small plates.Petit quantities we rapidly swallow. So I have a place for dessert, ordering pastries. Three mini pastry on a slate plate that I'm making like candy. even my companion was still hungry when I got out of here while I usually have to finish his dishes. it's always frustrating to pay about 30 euros per person in a restaurant and get out of hunger. In the end it's good, but the reputation is overvalued in my opinion.

I went back on Monday with a reservation and was glad I had one as the place quickly filled up and I noticed most if not all of the people who came in, had reservations. I eat Lebanese food quite often in the US and I can say Cedre’s food was very good. The owner stopped by my table, and other tables, to greet the guests.

Could have eaten those for my meal and skip the main dish! Although the main dish was also good. Service was not the fastest, but everyone was very friendly and helpful. Best to make reservation several days ahead. Will definitely go back the next time I’m in Grenoble.
