The service at this restaurant is very good. The menu is very limited, however. The food is fine but not exceptional. I am glad we tried it once but I don’t think I would go back as there are so many restaurants to try. View all feedback.
In a nice atmosphere with listening and very dynamic bosses you will taste a tasty home cooking
Ate here twice once because it was so close to my hotel and again when thunderstorms made a longer walk impractical. It was perfectly good, a very reasonable dinner from a small but varied menu at a price that puts it in the mid range. (I initially rated it average but it is better than that Trip Adviser really needs another option between average and very good without really being VERY good). Decent starters were offered (though I think the deep fried camembert could have done with a little longer in the fryer) but the mains were somewhat limited (partly due to personal taste) leading me to choose the bavette on both visits. Pleased to see Café Gourmand offered as this is one of the best developments in French cuisine I have seen. Wine available by the glass, 25cl or 50cl pitcher or bottle (ideal range of options for the sole diner for whom a glass is not enough and a bottle too much). Terrasse is available but on a busy square opposite the rail station too hot in the direct sun, too risky amid frequent thunderstorms. Interior was comfortable and on both my visits preferable.
Unfortunately more thinks from the menu no longer available than available Not even possible to get French fries which is The side for each meat plates
Varied menu including traditional French and some international influences eg poke bowl. Prices typical. Food fine but not brilliant, service good.
Brewery located near the train station and hotel, which is convenient. nice staff. Simple and good kitchen. Quick service.
