Sm... read more Steaming hot day and we needed something light. I was dreaming of gazpacho and was delighted to find it on the menu du jour. My son had the weiner schnitzel. Small place 22 seats and a nice waitress. Just hit to the spot for us. Nice range of desserts too.

I've been to this amazing restaurant a few times now and will continue to do so again and again because the prices are more than reasonable, the food is always... read more I've been to this amazing restaurant a few times now and will continue to do so again and again because the prices are more than reasonable, the food is always of exceptional quality and the staff are an absolute pleasure. It's always packed (full of locals) so book if you can or get there early as its a fairly small restaurant. From what I can tell its run by maybe a husband and wife team (the wife is the chef and the husband is the waiter) just a guess. Both are exceptional at what they do and the guy especially goes above and beyond.

Every bite was a taste to savour and even the steak hache was incredible for the children. I don't often give five stars but this place gets five stars like knife through hot butter

Everything... read more Decided to try this restaurant after passing it on the way to a Grenoble museum. Looked authentic and there were some vacant tables. A wise decision. Everything was first class. The young lady who was dealing with patrons exhibited great charm, humour and courtesy to her non-french guest, the only non local in the restaurant-another good sign. The food was near faultless from entrée to dessert and the prices so reasonable that if I was a Grenoble resident it would be a very regular destination. Had the good fortune of meeting and speaking with the equally charming and courteous chef. Great experience and one I would strongly recommend. It is virtually in the centre and the very short stroll to it at 8 rue Dominique Villars is more than worth it. This must surely be the top or one of the top restaurants in this city.

I've been here twice in the last month or so and each time the service and food was perfect. It's a small place very traditional french style which I love this particular restaurant has been in this space for about 18 months if I understood correctly, before there was another restaurant for 10+ years. The restaurant is located about 10 minutes from place victor hugo, fresh produce is used for the menus and the menus change with the seasons. Another reviewer noted that the tables are well spaced, which I agree with, You're not sitting on top of your neighbor. I love these small intimate tradtional spaces .. please don't change !
