The young... read more We ate there yesterday before a show at the Vogtlandhalle and I have to say we were very disappointed. I called at short notice and reserved a table. The young lady on the phone was very nice and asked straight away if we were going to go into the Vogtlandhalle after dinner so they would be aware and we would be there on time. I thought, wow, great service! When we arrived there was only one table free outside and everything inside was empty. The atmosphere is actually quite nice, apart from the strange people a few meters away who have a public meeting place there. Two young waitresses were on duty, but it took at least 10 minutes for us to get our drink orders. In general, neither of them seemed to be paying close attention, as we were left sitting with empty glasses without them even asking if we wanted anything else. You had to ask for one yourself. The food itself took a bit longer too, so we had to hurry to make it to the show on time. My husband ordered Wiener Schnitzel with fries and I ordered Filet Mignon. My meat was very good, but the sauce was bland and very simple. I searched in vain for mushrooms; at most, there was a hint of mushroom flavor. The tagliatelle was watery and bland, and the vegetable bouquet consisted of a few cooked pieces of vegetables without any seasoning or flavor. My husband 's schnitzel was one-third black. Obviously! How can you hand out a plate like that and then deliver it to the guest without comment? When we asked the waitress if they could at least adjust the price, as we didn 't have time to wait for a new plate, all she said was, She 'd have to ask the manager what they could do. We didn 't receive a reply. The entire schnitzel simply tasted burnt. After the meal, we immediately asked for the bill, but again the waitress didn 't respond to the schnitzel. Only after we asked again did she offer us a coffee on the house. We declined, and after a brief discussion, one beer was at least removed from the bill. Overall, it seemed very disorganized, even though there wasn 't much going on. And the food really wasn 't great. It 's a shame. So, we probably won 't see each other again.

The food was tasty, but overall, it wasn't entirely worth the price. The young waiter is still a bit unsure, but that's not a problem; he's still learning : Conclusion: The terrace seating is very nice, the food is decent, and the staff are friendly.
