This place used to be my favorite spot, where I used to live, study, and eat regularly. However, there has been a recent shift in their operations. They are frequently closed or close early without warning. Their Facebook page may state their closing time, but upon arrival, they have already shut down and turned off the lights hours before. We stopped in before the Freedom Fireworks in Greer last Saturday for lunch. I got the chicken salad sandwich which was excellent, definitely getting it again.. My boyfriend got the Forrester fruit and nut salad which was outstanding. The hummingbird cake was just like Grandma used to make. We definitely will be going back.
Stopped with a friend who was new to the area and wanted coffee but wound up getting lunch. Sandwiches and sides were very good and freshly made. They were very accommodating for my friend who was vegan. People were friendly. Will return.
First time visit and will be back..great salad, cool location and good coffee!

Every time we've ever been to Stomping Grounds we've enjoyed ourselves. My SO does not drink alcohol, but he enjoys coffee at all hours. Great place for us for date night! I get some wine, and he gets his coffee. Perfect!
