Our experience deteriorated further when she attempted to prevent us from sitting at the bar while we waited for our table. She pushed the chairs underneath the bar and stood there until another manager intervened and allowed us to sit down. At that moment, I was furious. We considered leaving, but I didn't want to give her the satisfaction of feeling like she had driven us away.
Fortunately, we ended up sitting nex... View all feedback.

This was my first time to Select after many recommendations from colleagues. First and foremost the food was delicious and service was spot on. Our waitress was attentive but never felt rushed to turn the table or absent when we needed anything. The value for what you spend is my only concern. $50-$75 for a steak is not what I would expect. What's up!!! Coming in with a hot take of a wonderful spot located in the heart of downtown Greer, SC, it's Select Restaurant. It is a must-visit destination for foodies seeking an exceptional dining experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere, which was accentuated by the friendly and attentive staff. First up was the burger, which was cooked to perfection and served with a generous portion of crispy fries. The patty was juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning. The toppings, including melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion, were fresh and added a nice crunch to the burger. Next, I tried the mussels, which were simply divine. The dish was presented beautifully, and the mussels were plump and juicy, with a rich and flavorful broth that had me savoring every bite. The dish was perfectly seasoned and made for a delightful starter. The Bruschetta was equally impressive. The bread was perfectly toasted and topped with fresh and flavorful ingredients, including diced tomatoes, basil, and balsamic vinegar. The combination of flavors and textures was spot on and made for a delicious appetizer. Our waiter, Blake, was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent suggestions and ensuring that our dining experience was top-notch. He was friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Overall, Select Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a truly memorable dining experience.
The vibe was nice, waitress was super awesome. The menu was a bit overwhelming ONLY cause there were Soo many great options to choose from. From the compotes made from scratch to the sausage skillet, the eggs were fluffy, literally my second best place to enjoy French toast, up there asking with Stack's Omega. Let's not even get started on the lavender explosion charged drink, the last syrup was Soo delicious along with the other flavors of the tea. Regardless if you're eating solo or with more than 1, it's a definite treat. The food wait wasn't even that long. Literally one of the best teas I've ever tasted as well, more than 2 cups of tea to savor and enjoy.
Excellent food. I was able to sample two of the entree 's thanks to a generous donor (my wife). I can happily say this matches, if not exceeds, the the best food available in the area. Pictured are the AMERICAN TRILOGY BURGER and APHRODITE’S GYRO items.
Update I have to lower the star to a 2 for the response from the owner stating they are pan seared and trying to call me a liar. They just scorched super on top to make them look seared on one side for presentation. Great service. I will start with that. The blueberry filet was amazing. Thee ribeye was o, nothing to write home about, and definitely not worth 61 buck, I'd say 40 at best. The scallops i do not recommend. They were not pan seare, and this made them have a very squishy texture and fishy flavor. It's probably the worst prepared scallops I've had. I understand scallops are not the easiest, but for 40 bucks for 5, I expect them to be top-notch P.S. the fried tomatoes are amazing. I recommend them
We decided to try this place on a whim. It was busy with a wait. The hostess offered a table that would have a reservation in just under 60 minutes but assured us the kitchen would be fast in getting the food out. We ordered with in 5 minutes leaving 50 for our food to be delivered and eaten. 30 mins later we revieved our order. This left the dining experience rushed and no room for error. Unfortunately when i recieved the monte Cristo it was soggy. The waitress stated that was the batter. I proceeded to show her where the batter was raw. She took my plate returned with the kitchen where they cooked the outside so the batter wasnt raw. Unfortunately my food returned with cold fries and a sandwich that looked unappealing. Since they were in a rush we paid and left. Was this a 20 breakfast, no i dont think so. The second sandwich was the french dip was wonderfully seasoned and served on good bread. Worth 24 again no i wouldnt do it again. Over all with tip and no drinks we spent over $50.
