We love this place. It's been the best Japanese restaurant in this area that's not overpriced for bland food. We love eating here and leave feeling full but not gross from heavy grease. The sushi is good and we always do the steak. They also have chicken that's not dry, so you don't have to drench it in sauces to be able to swallow it.Overall, it's our favorite restaurant in town! What User doesn't like about Osaka Grill:
This restaurant wasn't really my cup of tea. The soup smelled like an aquarium, which may be fine for seaweed fans. The rice, noodles, salad, and sushi were good. However, the dessert was disappointing. The steak was decent, and the shrimp were the standout dish. The service was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. There is more space inside than it appears from outside. Customers seemed satisfied, an... View all feedback.
My partner and I visited Osaka Grill for dinner on June 1st after my workday. Upon entering, I was struck by the beautiful decorations and wished I had brought my glasses to fully appreciate them. The attention to detail in the decor beautifully showcased Japanese culture. The food was perfect, with the shrimp teriyaki plate and "Sexy Girl Roll" sushi both being phenomenal. The sushi was both visually appealing and delicious, and the teriyaki plate was cooked perfectly. The white sauce complemented everything well. Our server was polite, quick, and knowledgeable, even when answering my questions. Despite the restaurant being full, the staff worked seamlessly as a team to keep things running smoothly. Although I was full after the meal, I decided to order a slice of green tea cheesecake to take home, and it ended up being my favorite part of the meal. As someone with a sweet tooth and a love for both cheesecake and green tea, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was - it even inspired me to try making my own. I would highly recommend Osaka Grill and will definitely be returning for future date nights. 10/10 experience!
I went to this restaurant for Mother's Day since I have to work on the actual holiday. Unfortunately, the staff were not friendly. The manager scolded me for requesting that her 10-year-old son not handle the register while I was paying. I will not be returning to this restaurant. Additionally, I fell ill after leaving the establishment.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food and service are fantastic. I've been dining here ever since I moved to Greer 7 years ago, and it never fails to impress me. In fact, it just keeps improving with time. The owners are always present and involved in the business, which I believe is why it continues to thrive and exceed expectations.
It was okay. Not the best sushi but not the worst. Still on the hunt for some really good sushi here in SC. Kinda spoiled with Seattle sushi...
What a great place if you want hibachi. I had ribeye steak and shrimp with fried rice. Shrimp were perfect and not overdone. Steak was med-rare as requested. On top of great food and service, prices were entirely reasonable.
