**Dining Dilemmas at the Terminal Dunkin'** A recent visit to a Dunkin' location in an airport exposed the flaws that can tarnish a dining experience. Patrons faced disappointment as the promised services, from menu items to operational hours, fell short. Busy weekends led to insufficient stock of popular donuts, while questionable customer policies left one regular feeling undervalued. Hygiene issues, such as unexpected hair found in coffee, raised serious concerns about cleanliness. Yet, amidst the chaos, some found solace in the food, like the avocado toast and hearty donuts, proving that even familiarity can sometimes be tinged with frustration in high-demand settings.
I am a big fan of avocado toast so when I saw it on the Dunkin? menu it was a wonderful surprise at 5:30 AM. It was good, I?d recommend adding bacon I think but it was a good quick bite for a breakfast snack.
We stopped at the Dunkin' inside the terminal while waiting for our flight at the gate. This location does not accept the Dunkin' app, which I should have taken as a warning and just skipped coffee until our next stop. The coffee itself was good and hot, but about halfway through, I noticed a long black hair trapped between the lid and the cup. Since I am bald and gray and my wife has gray hair as well, it definitely wasn't ours. Yuck! The local Department of Health should really pay this place a visit.
The staff was rude and unprofessional. I waited ten minutes before someone took my order, and then another five minutes only to be told they don’t accept payments from Dunkin. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
The coffee was decent, but the croissant was far from satisfactory. It was burnt on the outside and soaked in grease.
The restaurant did not provide what was promised in the menu. The staff member appeared uninterested. In the end, I chose not to buy anything and decided to take my business elsewhere.
