What User doesn't like about Waitrose Cafe:
This cafe is not up to the high John Lewis group standards. I live nearby and I have been there a couple of times. Super slow in serving coffee and cakes. Tables tend to be dirty and cluttered. They probably expect customers to clean up ? . I complained once and staff showed no interest. Really odd because I have been to other cafes of the chain and they are a lot better. View all feedback. Upstairs tucked away there is the quiet Waitrose Cafe. I always use it here for meetings as I get a drink for 25p for a coffee and banana with my Waitrose Card! I refuse to use one use cups or plastic which you are forced to use elsewhere, Waitrose use proper china. I will be back! View all feedback.

read moreDespite being a part of the prestigious John Lewis group, some branches of the cafe fell short of expectations. Slow service, dirty tables, and disinterested staff were common complaints. However, some branches received praise for specific menu items such as delicious cheese scones. The Waitrose Cafe on Oxford Street offered a quiet meeting spot with affordable drink options. Overall, the cafes provided reasonable prices and quality food, but inconsistencies in service and menu items were noted. Customers recommended trying different branches to find the best experience.
