had booked a table online, they also called the day before to double check it was booked as it was for 13 of us. when we arrived there, they had no booking showing that I had my email confirmation to prove it had been booked. in consideration how busy they were, I was terrible to be turned away, but they managed to press us without a damper. very nice patient waitress saw how we had 9 enthusiastic children. What User doesn't like about Frankie Benny's Greenwich O2:
this is a very busy restaurant at o2 and our table for two was clamped on the stretch between the tabs so that our server while waiting for us blocked the way through other server. eating is okay, they know what they get quite a lot from a franchise, but while not expensive a bit of pricy for what it is. they wait for dessert. on the plus side the server were very polite and they can book in advance what is helpful,... Had booked a table online also called them the day before to double check it was booked as it was for 13 of us. When we got there they had no booking showing I had my email confirmation to prove it had been booked. Considering how busy they were I was dreading being turned away but they managed to get us squeezed in without a fuss. Very nice patient waitress seeing as we had 9 excited children. Food gin good!
This is a very busy restaurant at the O2 and our table for two was stuck on the route between tables so our server when waiting on us blocked the way through for other servers. The food is okay you know what you are getting pretty much from a franchise but while not expensive a bit pricy for what it is. Bit of a wait for the dessert. On the plus side the servers were very polite and you can book in advance which is helpful as the O2 gets busy on a concert night.
Firstly then didn’t have the reservation for the table, however we did get seated. The seat wasn’t great, outside far away, enough to be forgot about. I am Gluten Free and ordered a carbornara with chicken. When it arrived there was lack of cheese sauce on the carbonara and the chicken was foul. It was defrosted but you could tell it wasn’t nice, my partner tasted it also and spat it out. I found a server and told him, he advised that this was not made in house (microwave meal really) it was defrosted and served to me. Now for £13 I really grudge this. I asked what was made in house...he hesitated so I asked about the pizza he said yes, i had this instead. It was ok, edible before the concert. This is the second time I have been to a FB’s and have had disgusting food. This will be the last time. My partners food was ok he said nothing special.
I had pretty low expectations going to F&B (or indeed any restaurant in the O2) ahead of a sold out gig this week. Pleased to say I was so wrong! The service was some of the friendliest and most efficient I've had, knowledgable and proactive about dietary requirements. Quick delivery from the kitchen. Lots of choice, even a few options for me as a vegan. Drinks on the expensive side but to be expected in O2. Otherwise thumbs up, again, especially for the lovely wait staff.
Pre concert dinner before watching U2. Location was good
