Saw the reviews and we were really looking for... read more Met a friend who is partially deaf for lunch here. We sat side by side so she could hear me in her half good ear. Saw the reviews and we were really looking forward to it. I was half way through eating my wrap and my friend half way through eating her omelette when a waitress approached and asked if we had finished???? Confused I was then 3/4 way through eating my wrap when another waitress just took my plate without asking!! It was done so swiftly and brazenly. We asked for the desert menu and it was given begrudgingly. We decided not to order it as were uncomfortable and asked for the bill. We hadn’t been there before and weren’t aware not we’re we told that we had to pay at the till. The waitress with round glasses and an accent said “are you leaving we need the table” A reasonable question, however the manner in which it was asked was appalling. Taking into account her behaviour whilst we were at the restaurant I decided to speak with her about her disrespectful and unwelcoming manner. She didn’t care and told me to speak to her manager. All I can say is Wow, just wow definitely don’t recommend it for appalling unwelcoming service. The food however is fantastic lovely and fresh/healthy. Will be getting takeaway in future!!!! Staff need CPD training on manners and to respect your fellow human being. Kindness costs nothing
