This was the nearest restaurant to our hotel, but the menu immediately enticed me. The food is very well prepared, with delicious fluffy naan, buttery rice and well balanced spiced curries/balties. I chose a vegetarian Thali, which gives you 4 different small curry choices plus...naan, rice and a samosa and my husband had the lamb tikka masala. I’m from Birmingham so am used to a wide variety of great curries and bal... View all feedback.
What Nathan Galli doesn't like about Chutney Tandoori:
we ordered naans, curry, aloo chat and chicken tandoori. I wont be wrong if I say it is the worst food of my lifetime. From naans to curry to chats everything was sweet despite my request to make it a lil spicy. Even the raita...ws sweet. Too bland food. Order at your own risk. View all feedback.
We had a wonderful dinner last night at this low-key restaurant. While it seemed like most people were ordering takeout, the menu had a variety of options and the service was excellent. The prices were very reasonable, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious.
I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food at this small restaurant/takeaway. When I first saw it from the road, I didn't have very high expectations as it didn't look like anything special. However, I decided to give it a try since I was staying at the Travelodge across the street. To my delight, the food was fantastic. It was probably the best curry my family and I had in a long time. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, including the Jilly Special (mild prawns), Korahi lamb chops (medium), Murgh Makhni (butter chicken), and Lamb Jalfrazi (hot, but not too spicy). Each dish had its own unique flavor and was delicious. The portions were also generous, and we left feeling satisfied. Additionally, they offer delivery services in the area. A single order is enough to comfortably serve two people, especially when paired with rice or naan bread.
Despite its unassuming exterior and the appearance of being closed, the dining experience at this restaurant is exceptional and memorable. The owner, Captain, and his family are incredibly welcoming, treating us like long-lost relatives. While there is no alcohol served, it does not take away from the overall experience. We would suggest bringing your own or trying their delicious homemade beverages instead.
Order here tonight for the first time. had a meal for two. the type on the phone was very helpful. 1. it was very good value for money. 2. it was within an hour (on a Friday night that was excellent)....3rd it was very delicious and we enjoyed it thoroughly. my only complicity would not be a mango cutney and the lamb cops looked pretty anorexic. but id definatly order again.
Normally I wouldn’t write but the food was the best I can’t describe it the staff were kind the food was sick
