South Bay Greenwich

Made a 7:00 reservation week ahead of time to bring group of 7 friends visiting from out of town for Fri night. Called day of and pushed reservation back to 7:30 and talked to very kind woman who was accommodating and polite. When we arrived to restaurant at 7:20 host was rude and harsh about us being late blaming me for confusion about changed reservation time. Then he proceeded to sit us in back room which lacks any ambiance alongside very large party (25ppl). Service was slow yet somehow we felt rushed all of dinner. Food was fine, not bad but nothing exceptional. We then we’re practically kicked out of restaurant as waiters began blowing up balloons and building Photo Booth directly besides our table making it clear we were in the way. Disappointed since I have been before and really enjoyed it but back room is NOT it and foods not good enough to make up for rude service.

Nothing special. Food was just OK. Shared plates small for price. Caesar salad very over dressed. Didn't eat it. Wouldn't go back. Service was fine.

I went to celebrate my birthday. We ordered two appetizers and the main courses arrived 5 minutes after the first course? I asked for the manager who looked stunned? The main plates were removed then returned semi warm. Very disappointing.

This was our first visit to Sounth Bay. We were very please with the freshness of the food and our server was excellent. We will be going back.

This was our first time at South Bay and it was awesome! We shared some small plates. Crab nachos, so good. Pork bao buns, off the charts, chicken tacos, very good! We ordered a 2nd round of the bao buns as they were so great. Can't wait to go back!
