We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere and the food were both outstanding. The staff was incredibly attentive. I'm so glad we finally got to try this place! View all feedback.
What Matt W doesn't like about Route 15 Sports In Beer Garden:
The owner called the bar from a back room to ask the bartender, who was already overwhelmed with customers, for service for his poker game. I’ve seen this happen before. The bar operates more like a members-only club—if you’re a regular or a friend of the owner or staff, you’re treated like royalty; otherwise, you often feel overlooked and like a burden. It’s a nice bar with good food, and it’s close to home, but I r... View all feedback.
Excellent service. My bartender Nick is always on site for questions about beer and menu. A pleasure every time. I'll be back again and again. Good beer selection of decent food.
I ate a friend here for the first time. I ordered the plate with Fritten and it was FANTASTIC! It was also brought out in quick order and even had a nice conversation with the owner before leaving. Some of the best fish in the area and the frits are also not to be missed!
The fried chicken. moment of silence. no, really. YUMMY! It is as good of fried chicken as you will get anywhere, from grocery store to deli to fine dining. It is excellent. Now for the crazy part. 4 pieces and side for $6.49. If only for the fried chicken this place would get five stars. The side that came with the fried chicken was mashed potatoes and gravy. The potatoes had a weird consistency and a off flavor, while the gravy was very, very watery. Side note-We dined at 9pm just as they were starting to switch to dance club, so I am willing to overlook a couple of hiccups. The wife ordered the French Dip, It was huge, the meat was tender, and the Au jus was flavorful, not greasy or watery at all. She was very happy. This brings me to a second moment of silence. please. The beer battered french fries. OH MY GOD!! Excellent. Best Fries ever. They were so GOOD!!! We also ordered the riblets for a appetizer. The sauce was good, the meat was cooked nicely, and it was ok . I probably would try something else on their menu. and now for some more good news. The bill. How many times can you say that? I know, me too. All of this food plus two drinks for $25 bucks. We took home a full container of food. $25 bucks is a great deal.
I have been here many times. Use to go here a lot after roller derby practice on Tuesdays nights where they had Double Bubble night. That was always nice because they're always rotating their taps with craft beers which sometimes all you need is two drinks. I would recommend getting a **** mary here. Spicy or not-spicy it hits the spot on a Sunday Funday. The food here is pretty decent. I usually end up getting cheese curds, but I've always enjoyed their wraps and burgers. Be aware sometimes getting food is pretty slow if there's only one or two people working as I think the bartenders help make some of the food and serve drinks. The staff are super friendly and will usually get decent service.
I was here a couple weeks ago and there was a server named Sarah. She was awesome. The food was average, but Sarah made it worth coming back. We came back tonight and it was terrible. The food was still below average, but now the service was terrible too. I would definitely not recommend this place.
