Backyard Bbq - Greenup

The ribs here are delicious, but unfortunately the last four times I have tried to visit, the restaurant was closed. I am not even sure if it is still in operation. It appears that it is permanently closed, as Taco Rey will be opening soon.

I ordered the ribs, mac and cheese, and a baked potato. It was a good meal for the price, but my baked potato was dry and I didn't receive the condiments I requested. The cashier seemed to not be paying much attention to my order.

As a truck driver, I ordered the Nachos and was very disappointed because they were cold. The wings were also really bad, very dry and not tender. They did not give me any ranch or sauce for the wings. I do not recommend this place.

This place is awesome meet the owner and cant even explain how great and appreciated he was loved ever minute of it and meeting the locals was great as well down to earth Will all was give this place my business

So, just ordered the pulled pork sandwich an 6 wings. The sandwich was good. The wings on the other hand were cold and I was charged full price when they have a Wednesday special for .75 cent wings. Anyways money isn't the issue. I called and asked to get a refund on the wings because I'm sure the lady was aware the wings were not fresh. I feel like since I ordered to go and am a truck driver (hat stated it) I was taken advantage of. Was told I can get free wings next time but I'm an OTR driver. More than likely won't be back here anytime soon.Check the specials and make sure your food is cooked fresh.
