I had a pleasant experience during my lunch visit, as both the food and service were good, though the dishes could use a bit more seasoning. I really liked the atmosphere—it felt fun and welcoming. What Anna G doesn't like about Fishbones:
The food was just mediocre but the service was honestly horrible and i hate to admit such. it took at least 2 hours for us to be done with our meal and we only got one appetizer and our meals. no lingering at all. View all feedback.
We decided to sit at the bar and ended up having four beers before placing our order. We thought that spending $30 on drinks would lead to better service, but we were wrong. While one half of my sandwich was quite tasty, the other half was disappointing—there was barely a fingernail-sized piece of fish on it. Check out the picture. For $16, I expected much better quality from the sandwich.
I absolutely love the twisted chicken! In my previous visits, I felt that the service could use some improvement, or perhaps they just needed more staff. However, my last experience was significantly better! I really enjoy the twisted chicken tacos, twisted chicken salad, and the seared tuna appetizer. We also tried the cod fish and chips, but that dish didn’t quite win us over.
This restaurant was exceptional. They had an excellent selection of beers, and the food was delicious. The highlight, however, was the service; we had at least ten staff members checking on us throughout our meal. Keep up the fantastic work!
This place is always a win for my fiancé and I! I love some of thier staples like popcorn shrimp with coconut aioli, ceasar salad with garlic ciabatta bread, fish and chips, shrimp and grits, veggie quesadilla, corn on the cob and blackened green beans but check out thier instagram for weekly specials. Last week's honey glazed salmon with gouda mac(one of my all time favs) and garlic butter broccolini were omg so tasty and left me feeling satisfied, but not weighed down. I forgot to take a pic of that special but have added one a couple weeks back of pan seared scallops w/creamy masala mushroom orzotto and blackened asparagus yummm. Only wish I'd started eating here sooner!!
This was our first time visiting. Great food and excellent service. We will be back! I had the Shrimp and Grits with blackened green beans, it was great! ????
