My friends and I have dined at the Merchant's wife on Saturday night and were also impressed! The restaurant itself is beautiful, the oysters were fresh and the striped bass was to die. The server was attentive and pleased with special requests. We liked it so much that we came back for Sunday brunch the next morning! Very recommended! View all feedback.
This hidden gem didn't disappoint. Food and service were impeccable. I recommend Pasta Nera, I still dream about it 24 hours later. Yancey, our bartender and service were Notch. He made an impressive White Nigroni and helped us combine the right wine with our meal. I can't say enough about this restaurant. You should eat here. A
Phenomenal staff. Yancy is a rockstar behind the bar, cheers
Such a gem! I stayed here during the week and had the best stay. The staff is so nice, the location is great and the hotel itself is so clean and well maintained. This might have been the best hotel experience I have ever had. I did not want to leave so ended up extending my stay. The hotel is in the perfect location and the roof is so relaxing to have a coffee or drink on. The galley is stocked with amazing treats and so convenient as well as the little shop with amazing coffee. I loved biking to the beach and to the wineries. I would not think twice and book this place, you will not be disappointed.
I first would like to say that most of the staff and location at this hotel are great. The texting service was very convenient both before the trip as well as during. Also the galley and rooftop were nice. The reason for 3 stars is the trouble we had with the room, specifically the plumbing (on two separate occasions over two days- both sink and toilet), which ultimately led to an unexpected and abrupt early exit from the hotel. We were supposed to spend the morning walking around town and getting breakfast and weren?t able to do so because of these issues. When checking out, we were told the issues would be escalated to the manager, Mario, or assistant manager Alexis, and that we would be contacted the same day or the next. Days later after no call, we contacted the hotel and were told Mario would call us and still no call back. It is almost a week after our trip. This is unacceptable for a hotel at this caliber, especially when paying over $600 a night. We have trips on the north fork multiple times a year and would have considered staying here again despite the issues, however out of principle would not again due to the management here.
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! The hotel itself was spotless and beautiful the entire room was immaculate and the beds were so comfy. Each floor has a galley which is fully stocked with complimentary Fiji water, soda, tea, coffee and snacks. The roof is a perfect spot to hangout and drink a glass of wine and the fire pits were awesome on a chilly September night. The hotel also has a great little texting system where you can text them anything you need/want and they bring it to you SO quickly. Which leads me to the absolute best part about this hotel the staff. The staff is beyond friendly and incredibly attentive. Our trip would not have been the same without Jake and his top notch service and awesome recommendations he truly made the experience. Jade and Alexis were also awesome! Just all around a 5+ star experience I cannot recommend this place enough!
