I asked the very slow employee behind the counter to lightly toast my sandwich, and she responded sarcastically that their toaster only does light. Then she completely over-toasted it until it was burnt. I requested ranch dressing on my chicken bacon ranch, but they only had peppercorn ranch, which I can’t eat because of my ulcers. When I explained this, the employee rudely insisted it was the same as regular ranch. Definitely won’t be coming back.
The Subway recently changed ownership, and it seemed to be improving over the summer. However, our visit last weekend was disappointing. The service was lacking, and the staff appeared unenthusiastic, which made us feel like we were a bother. On a prior visit, I had to order a sandwich I didn’t really want because the steak wasn’t thawed. This is something that needs to be resolved before they open. I don’t plan on returning anytime soon and would not recommend this location.
Every time I've visited this restaurant, I've noticed a lack of vegetarian options, and it seems like there are always only a few types of sandwich bread available. I'm not sure what's happening at this Subway, but when I go to the one in Creston, they have a full selection. It's hard to think that it's a supply chain problem. I'm not sure if it's related to the person placing the orders or something else entirely. On a positive note, I have never had any issues with the friendliness of the staff.
I ordered a steak and cheese sandwich for my wife, but it was lacking enough steak for a footlong. I also got a meatball boss footlong, but it didn't contain any meatballs at all. It appears that the management isn't regularly checking to ensure they have the necessary items in stock when customers place their orders.
