Baileyton - Greeneville
Baileyton
Description
Tucked near I-81, this diner-style spot serves hearty, budget-friendly breakfasts and lunches — think biscuits and gravy, country ham and generous portions — with many patrons praising quick, tasty meals and friendly staff. Experiences vary: some guests report sticky booths, unsanitary restrooms, grease-smoke and slow service when understaffed. Parking is plentiful and kid-friendly options exist, but ventilation, AC and consistent cleanliness need improvement. Ideal for road-trippers and value-seeking diners who prioritize flavor over polish.

This was my first visit, and I must say the place is pretty simple, yet the food is delicious! I ordered a club sandwich with onions, while my husband had a burger and fries. The prices were fantastic, and the service was excellent. We cleared our plates, and my husband remarked that it was the best burger he has had in a long time. The restaurant is a decent size but has an older ambiance. Meal type: Lunch.
The service, food, and wait time were all exceptional! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and our meals arrived quickly, piping hot, and incredibly delicious. This spot is definitely a honeymoon favorite! Rating: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
This is the best catfish you'll ever taste! The service is great, and I dined in for dinner. The price per person is very reasonable, ranging from $1 to $10. I highly recommend trying the hamburger as well. There's plenty of parking available, and it's all free.
I was stuck here for the weekend as a truck driver. I ate here 3 days in a row. Only a 0.8 mile walk from the truck stop. I had a variety of items, and everything was great! It made my weekend, and gave me something to do in a small town. I loved hearing the locals, relaxing atmosphere despite the construction, food at excellent prices and tasty. Speaking to all out of owners and sedentary truckers. Please come and eat here! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Service was very slow Sunday when we went. But they seemed understaffed. The eggs were overcooked, and the bacon tasted spoiled. The coffee, country ham and the biscuits with gravy were really good. And you can't beat the prices!! Also, the chef really needs to lay off the cuss words. I heard him say many of them in the 1.5 hours we were there. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Biscuits and Gravy
