This restaurant is disappointing. A majority of their meat is deep-fried and none of the chefs wear gloves. They do not use sanitizer buckets or water for cleaning, and they do not use timers for foods that require them. As a full-time single parent working for them, I was fired for needing a change in availability for my son, with no other reason given. The back of the restaurant is not family-friendly, and they need to improve their treatment of employees and handling of situations. The health department should be called as the practices in the kitchen are concerning.
Very good food, for very good prices. I got an excellent chicken fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and mac-n-cheese for only $10! It was an amazing stick to your ribs kind of dinner! Raspberry Donut Cheesecake for dessert was to die for! Would highly recommend.
This has become one of our favorite places when dining put. The service is exemplary. The food is delicious, home-cooked tasting food, and very reasonably priced. If you like chicken, they broasted chicken is a must try! Consistently the best broasted chicken we've had! ????
