I ordered breakfast to-go while staying at the KOA with my family, and it was fantastic! The pancakes were hot and fluffy, and the French toast and eggs were very delicious as well. The sausage was great too. They really thought of everything, as my order came with utensils, sugar, cream, salt, pepper, plenty of maple syrup, and whipped butter. View all feedback.
What E doesn't like about West Winds:
Don't waste your time and money here. Staff just sitting around Playing cards. After I was seated I was ignored. 15 mins to take my order and I was the only one there. Only when I got up to leave did they come over. The breakfast I ordered wasn't great either. Once the food finally came they never came by to check on me or fill my empty coffee. I've been dining here for years, but I stopped by the other day and was very disappointed with the food. The waitress took my order and delivered my meal, but she never came back to check on me. It seems the menu has been significantly reduced; perhaps there's new ownership. They used to have an incredible pork green chili sauce, but that's no longer the case. I won't be returning.
It's unfortunate that this restaurant closes at 2 PM. I was passing through and arrived just five minutes before closing. I appreciated that they took my order, but unfortunately, the burger I ordered did not meet my expectations. It was dry and overcooked. The fries also tasted old. I sensed some tension from the staff, which seemed to stem from my late arrival. Perhaps if I visit in the morning, I’ll encounter a friendlier atmosphere and enjoy better food.

The waitress was incredibly sweet, and I appreciate her kindness. However, I have to say, as a Texan, that the chicken fried steak I had here was the worst I've ever experienced. I wouldn't recommend spending your money on it.

I stood up at the cash register to get their attention and it was to much of a bother for me to pay, I guess I interpreted their conversation. Closes at 2. There are other options in town avaible keep driving.
