This restaurant in Green Bay has the best coffee! I ended up spending way too much money because I couldn't resist stopping in for a cup every day. Absolutely amazing!

My fiancé and I have been loyal customers of La Java for almost two years now. After switching from a national chain, we have never looked back. The prices are even cheaper than the big name coffee shops, and the drinks taste much better! We have always had a great experience - our orders are always correct, the wait time is never too long, and the employees are always friendly and enthusiastic. The smell of the coffee when the window opens is simply amazing. If they could bottle that scent, they would be millionaires! Don't forget to take a deep breath and savor the aroma when you visit La Java.

The coffee is great but there is always a long wait even if there isn't anyone in front of you.

I don't know what happened but the taste of the coffee has gotten worse in the past year. It seems when the teenagers are working the quality of the drink is bad, almost tastes burnt. If you go during the week when the normal ladies are working it's savory, tasty and delicious. I went today 6-26-21 around noon, and ordered two large hot sugar free lattes one with whole the other with almond milk. We got the coffee and we couldn't tell which is which as they didn't label them and they tasted the same. It tastes burnt, stale and just not enjoyable. I had to dump mine out and just make coffee at home it was that bad. I hope this review reaches the right people and maybe correct the issue. I still highly recommend La Java as normally it's great coffee but this long time customer of the Velp Ave store might have to make the drive to the one on Cardinal instead.
