This company has high values morals. I was homeless last year and I went in and asked for a plate of food and Eric the manager there gave me a plate, no questions asked. I’ve gotten up on my feet since and plan to bring my family to eat there soon. Thank you for all you do Erc! View all feedback.
What Jason P doesn't like about Rio Grande Mexican:
The good. The Rio is in a fantastic old building with a lot of history. The outdoor seating is one of the best in the city. The bad. The food is mediocre at best and the happy hour margarita was not good at all. It didn't taste anything like a margarita. It tasted more like soda with some sugar water or something. Anyways I wish the food and drink was good here because it could be a great place to hang out. View all feedback.
The food was good. Not mind-blowing, but it was a solid 7.5/10. I had their carne asada nachos, and they were served hot and fresh. They were quite filling, too; I didn't quite manage to finish them, in a good way. We didn't have any alcohol, but they had a nice selection of drinks if we'd wanted them. Our waiter was awesome, very nice without being intrusive, kept our sodas topped off, and didn't rush us out the door either. I'd come back for the service alone.
We had dinner and read the fine print on the menu for allergies I have a severe allergy and I let our wonderful waitress know and she let the staff know in the kitchen she was great came back and let me know a manager would make sure there was no cross contamination. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone with allergies mine was shell food ? the margaritas are amazing! It was a good place to be at! I'd go again thank you Rio for accommodating my allergy!! Greatly appreciated!

Just spent the last hour driving to/from Greeley to visit the Rio Grande Restaurant. We called before we left, but they don't answer the phone there, but instead subject you to useless pre-recorded nonsense. Upon our arrival (midday on a weekday), we were disippointed to find restaurant closed. We will not be wasting any more of our time or effort on this restaurant. Extremely poorly managed.
