Panera Bread
Description
Panera continues to charm patrons with its welcoming atmosphere and diligent staff, praised for their attentiveness and superb customer service. While many dishes, such as the Mac-N-Cheese grilled cheese and breakfast bagel, receive rave reviews for flavor and freshness, there are concerns regarding inconsistency in portion sizes and presentation. Delivery and service times can be slow at peak hours, occasionally leading to frustrating experiences. Nevertheless, loyal customers appreciate the establishment's ability to address issues effectively, often resulting in complimentary offerings. With a blend of healthy options and satisfying meals, Panera remains a favorite choice for many diners.

I had lunch there today and ordered a turkey, bacon, and cheese sandwich on a unique type of bread that had a hint of tomato and other flavors. I wasn't a fan of the bread's taste, but that's just my personal preference. I also wish they had crisped up the bacon—it was cold and quite rubbery, making it hard to chew. I ended up having to remove most of it from the sandwich.
I typically enjoy Panera, but my experience today was disappointing. I ordered a pick 2 with soup and a grilled cheese, but the grilled cheese didn’t appear to be grilled at all. Additionally, my husband’s teriyaki chicken bowl was a very small portion. I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon.
I only received decaf coffee, and it was cold. Eventually, I got regular coffee after they prepared it. The soup was also cold, and I had to microwave it myself after searching for the hidden microwave under the coffee bar. I was never offered the option to upgrade my meal or choose my sides. The chicken salad was bland. This café used to be good, but my last few visits have been disappointing. I even had to interrupt a conversation among the staff just to get assistance.
My wife and I had lunch at Panera today. It wasn't very crowded, and the counter service was both efficient and friendly. Our order was correct. My wife opted for the Napa Chicken Salad, which was delicious but a little on the light side. I had the spicy chicken breast sandwich accompanied by cream of chicken soup, both of which were quite good. We also ordered iced coffee, which was decent. Overall, the quality of the food and the service were excellent, as always.
We brought eight Girl Scouts (2nd 6th graders) in tonight for the Panera Bakers in Training program. The General Manager, a baker, and another team member took such great care of us as our troop learned about baking bread, sampled items, and decorated heart shaped cookies. The staff was attentive, kept the girls interested and engaged, and the food was, as always, incredible! Three families stayed for dinner and the two others took take out home. Thank you, Greece Panera, for offering this program and doing it so well. Girl Scout Troop 60692 Hamlin, NY
