It would appear that there have been recen... read more I recently visited a family member in Shepparton and since we are both Service members I wanted to try the local RSL. It would appear that there have been recent renovations and the atmosphere was quiet and friendly. My cousin and I ordered the Barramundi and the serving was quite generous. We both enjoyed our meal and I would class it as good bistro food. No room for desert. Staff were very efficient. I would have no hesitation in returning to this venue.

The staff were so very friendly. There were quite a lot of people to be served however the staff looked after us all very swiftly! A wonderful restaurant! We will return! Thank you!

My husband ordered spring rolls but was served... read more Sadly, I feel compelled to write this review. This evening, my husband and I dined at Shepparton RSL for dinner. My husband ordered spring rolls but was served dim sims. I ordered vegetable soup- it looked and tasted like pumpkin soup. We both ordered grilled barramundi with vegetables. Fish was not grilled instead it was pan fried. Vegetables- potatoes and beans were cold. Carrots and cabbage were edible. I did express our concerns to a staff member.

Not so great with some staff and security telling people to be quiet because they were laughing singing .. At 11:10pm. After the show was finished. No one within any group were being harmful or causing trouble. As a matter of fact 3 groups unknown to each other became 1.. There was absolutely no need to tell patrons to be quiet in a rude manner. We are who pay your wages... If you can't handle people laughing and having fun, you shouldn't be working in that environment.. Diggers laughed too.. Just because it's an rsl, doesn't mean people can't be happy... Some of the pokies machines are loud too, do u turn them off.. Pathetic really..

First of all, he would not accept my Victorian government Seniors card which I gave to him before ordering, Then he told me the Seniors card did not provide a discount as you received smaller meals, this is not mentioned on their menu. the food proportions were very large but the quality of the fish was very poor. Overall a bad experience WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO FAMILY OR FRIENDS

The Prawn cutlets was flattened Crab sticks, the Flat Head tail was questionable. The Calamari rings was deep fried whilst still frozen, making them still soggy. Nothing good to say. Better to go to a restaurant any other restaurant. Food quality is 1 Star. Wait time for meal 1 Star. Service 1 Star.
