Sandown Park Hotel - Greater Dandenong

The staff at this restaurant was unhelpful and unfriendly. They refused to provide a physical menu for me to take to my elderly family members, insisting that we take photos and make calls instead. The meals took a long time to arrive and when they did, the meat was so tough that it was practically inedible - a rubber toy would have been easier to chew. It's clear that this establishment does not cater to older diners. I will not be returning.

Accidentally booked the wrong pub but am so glad I did. Their menu is awesome with all the usual favourites as well as some nice additions. It's hard to choose what to order. The meals are huge- we couldn't eat ours but they are delicious! We had pork belly, a parma, soup, kids nuggets, lamb shanks and desserts and everything was well priced and scrumptious. Drinks are a steal also. There's a great kid's indoor play area too so that let the adults talk and kids enjoy themselves. Would definitely visit again.

Wss travelling pass and decided to stop off for lunch. Grabbed a parma and could eat it. Was the worst I have had. The toping wss dry and over cooked the chicken breast was small and full of what i would call gristle. When I complained to front of house staff was told that just how they are cooked and they cant control what they are supplied. Beer was cold but I wont be back

Had a family dinner here recently while staying in the area. Food was of good quality, seafood trawler's plate, a Thai dish, and a chicken Parma.There is a kid's playground for parents to chill with a cold one! Thumbs up!

Attended the Sandown Hotel staff member Nicki was great,she was manning both the front of house, bar and meals area and did it with the highest level of efficency and customer service .OUR meal the chicken Oscar was delicious and a generous size meal and thankfully salad accompainment was not limp. Husbands Barra slightly over cooked but generous portion others also enjoyed their meals and the trio dip and toasted olive bread yummo
