Foods are excellent. We came here every time the foods are alway good. Service is slow if the restaurant get busy and they should consider more servicer or it will frustrate or lose customers. View all feedback.

The food is tasty, very friendly and they have many specials.
I 've been wanting to try this place for a while. Service was good but the food was obviously prepared by an ameutur cook. The gumbo was literally BURNT tasting brown gravy with a few pieces of chicken and seafood thrown in. The Parmesan oysters were not grilled, baked or broiled thoroughly. It was oysters with the poorest grade of Parmesan imagineable sprinkled on top and undercooked. They served DRY french bread for garlic bread. People, garlic bread is easy to make. (Butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning mix well, spread on bread and toast the bread under the broiler. Any experienced chef would know that. I used my dry french baguette ? to make myself a hoagie for lunch the next day. I wasted My Treat Myself Day at the Blue Wave. Never again.
6pm on a Saturday night. 2 other tables, 8 guests total. 1st visit. Ordered recommended fried rice with jumbo shrimp. Rice great, shrimp tasted frozen and reheated. No appetizers were ordered yet table was served in stages. One persons dinner was cooling off and nearly completely gone before the rest of the parties food came. Everyone ended up sharing so that noone was left eating alone. Kitchen looked very clean, as was the center island bar. Tables were not so clean. Napkins and soy sauce bottles were crusty dirty. For over $20 per diner, we could have eaten Papadeaux's.
Katy, TX Stumbled upon this hidden gem right outside Houston (Katy). The seafood here was beyond delicious! It is a Vietnamese fusion resto so I was in Heaven. From fresh catches to mouthwatering flavors, it was a seafood lover's paradise. We had the oysters (raw and grilled with garlic parmesan) and the Bluewave platter #2. Service was great. It wasn't crowded as we went early afternoon. They carry beer from around the world so if you're a beer lover, you will like this place. Cold beer pairs well with seafood. Place is clean with a beach decor. It's located in a strip mall so plenty of parking. The bar is huge!!!! They also have another location, I'm told, but again, this review is for the one in Katy close to Cypress. Give it a try!
