we do not feed in the restaurant, but the location and history is fascinating: in 1575 dionisio tadei the fortification architect built a powder magazine on the floor of the stall bastian, which was destroyed in 1809 by the French. In 1820 dr. hodl built a vintage house on the ruins with the small gothic towers and grew up reben on the terraces below. since the turn of the century gustav stracke (1848-1921) lived her... Here in the Starcke house, or as the locals say, the Starcke cottages due to their small size, you will experience the wild beauty of the Schlossberg, Graz ' famous Schlossberg, on which the clock tower is also located, the landmark of Graz. The Starcke House, named after an actor from Dresden Gustav Starcke, who lived here, has a long tradition and is built on the Schlossberg, which means that this place is embedded in Schlossberg Graz, and from here you can see over large parts of the famous UNESCO World Heritage Old Town of Graz. There is a sun terrace and an elongated beautiful terrace on the hill that is easily accessible from the Starcke house itself. The cappuccino we had here was very tasty and in a very needy environment that reminds of a small Zen garden. Since the Starcke house itself is in more of a tiny lodge, I strongly recommend sitting outside in the terrace if possible, but since this place is nested on the hill, it is very wind-shielded and therefore something to be taken into account even in the few stormy days of Graz. The spectacular and fine atmosphere is also something for couples who want to have it more romantic than elsewhere. From Graz with love! Dr. Immanuel Fruhmann
Great view and great coffee.

Came in when it began to rain. overpriced, as already mentioned. service was somewhat arrogant and unprofessional. responded to accept credit cards: a cup tee and a latte came to 10euros, but they only said cash if the bill more than 30eur. our only bad experience in graz, otherwise charming city:
We ordered Venetian but they served us Aperol spritz and denied it. Waiters are unprofessional They only want cash, predenting that their credit card machine broke, even in times of corona.
