Just visited the bar area. No food served.. Main parking area is located in the back. Young, male bar tender was very nice !!!

Chappy's is a small restaurant and bar close to the river in downtown Grayville Illinois. I had the ribeye sandwich with onion rings and they were fantastic! A rather basic atmosphere but the food was really good. I came in the front door which required steps.
The food was really good, the service was great and the staff was very friendly.
We happened to be in the area around lunch time and decided to try this place. My husband used to play in a band nearby and ate here several times. It was my first time. OMG! The Bourbon Chicken Sandwich was amazing. I only wish I had more room in my stomach to finish it. And the onion petals were very good. We will definitely come back when we are in the area.
