Was Larry Brix at Chappy's Grill a mag?
We stopped to eat as we were traveling on 64. There are very few places to stop between Evansville and Mt Vernon and we found this place online. The 8 ounce sirloin was good. The chicken breast was also good and seasoned well. The restaurant wasn't crowded. The server was very friendly and welcoming. She did a good job making sure we had what we needed. Just visited the bar area. No food served.. Main parking area is located in the back. Young, male bar tender was very nice !!!
We had the bourbon burgers. They were good. I did not like the sauce as much as I thought I would. The meat was good and properly cooked. The fries were good but not great. The excellent service brought it up to a 5 star review. She appeared to be the only person in the front of the house. It was a slow day (12/30).
