Return visit. Waitress was Liz, she was awesome.Ordered another BLT from the lunch menu, was perfect,(had no onions on it and Liz said the BLT doesn't come with onions on it. October 4, 2024. Ordered a BLT from their lunch menu. I asked the waitress if it was only bacon, lettuce tomato, nothing extra added. She said yes that was all. When it arrived there were raw onions on it. I pointed it out to her and she said that is the way they make them (the onions were not listed on the menu . She said if I send it back there would be a long wait to get it since they were busy. I picked them off (I HATE RAW ONIONS , there was also no mayo on it. I asked for some mayo, never got it. I also paid cash, I was to get back $1 and change, she never gave me back my change so that was her tip. There were 7 of us and I wasn't the only one that she messed up on. Our serv... read more I have always enjoyed Sam's, so this review is hard for me. When we arrived (a group of 6), there were several tables of diners outside and one inside. Our server was friendly, but basically disappeared after taking our orders--4 of us ordered the same thing, the Grayson Market Salad, my personal favorite. We waited an hour for our food, with no explanation, no offer of refills on drinks, no one checking in with us. When food finally arrived, my salad looked like it had been spilled on the counter and just thrown back into the bowl. It was mostly tired Romaine with very little else. I've had side salads that were bigger and had more in them. One other diner sent their salad back. We were finally offered refills. The restrooms need some attention and maintenance. There isn’t any better place in Georgia that can beat the taste, scenery, or atmospheric attraction of this establishment. The food is absolutely indescribably irresistible! I wish I could come back here everyday and I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anybody who needs to be engaged with an unforgettable flavor pallet! Easily the best damn restaurant in the entire world! Wondering if you changed the breading on the Fried Green Tomatoes....seems more like a batter, no flavor, not what I remembered. Absolutely love this place. Food is delicious. Large outdoor area. Wait staff SO nice, knowledgeable and efficient. Flounder best ever. Goat Cheese, Beet Salad superb (was able to get a half salad). Roasted Red Pepper dipping sauce for Fried Green Tomatoes to die for. Gyro's and Tzatziki sauce fresh and flavorful. My daughter and I can't wait to go back. She lives about six minutes from the restaurant so I am sure her and her husband will be back often! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
