Given that the restaura... read more The tater tots were tasty and it's one of the few spots in the area that offers them on the menu. They also serve burgers and ice cream. Given that the restaurant is named after Wimpy, a character known for his love of burgers, you'd expect the burgers to be outstanding. Unfortunately, I doubt even he would enjoy these. They consist of standard frozen patties—bland and with an unusual texture. There's nothing unique about them that would make me want to come back. If you're in the mood for delicious, extra-greasy tater tots or ice cream, this place is a solid choice. However, if you’re looking for a great burger from a restaurant named after a burger enthusiast, you may leave feeling let down.

Since I was in... read more I recently heard a DJ from my favorite radio station raving about a place in Grayling called Wimpy's, known for its amazing burgers and chicken. Since I was in the area, I decided to give it a shot, and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the beer-battered wings accompanied by beer-battered fries and a drink, all for around $12. I was so hungry that I completely forgot to take pictures. As soon as I took my first bite, I was in love! The food was absolutely delicious and budget-friendly. Plus, you can even take a fun photo with the whole Popeye gang. I can't wait to go back and try more items from their menu!
