We live over 2 hours away stopped for dinner on our way home. The food was great, came in a timely manner. Only reason I gave it a 4 star was because the hostess (young blonde girl) was super rude. Slammed our menus down acted like we were a bother to her. View all feedback.
What Jamie Kozma doesn't like about Spikes Keg o Nails:
This is a complete did....the only thing that made this place a 1 star is Jewel the hostess she was amazing and a delight... waitress we had never came to our table except to take the order and get the payment.. horrible service View all feedback.
Another first for me and it was definitely worth it. I got the cod for lunch and it was delicious, the staff was very friendly also. I would recommend swinging in if you're in the area.
Really cool atmosphere. Some bigger tables and high tops, with a dark ambiance. We had a hard time reading the menu and the booth was very small for my 6'4 husband with 4 of us crammed in. Our friends told us it was a wonderful place, so we must havecaught them on an off day. It was very busy, there was a wait (which was fine), but the service and food were simply mediocre.Hubs had a burger, and i had a patty melt. I asked for bacon which came out rubbery and not yummy. Far too busy to catch ourserver. I paid for it with out a problem. Aps were good. Fried food. Will try again, with a hopefully better experience.
Absolutely excellent! Bartenders remember what each customer needs. The place was packed too! Very impressive for a small establishment.
My husband and I stopped in for lunch today and everything was fantastic! The burgers were amazing and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back.
I had never been here previously so as we were passing through Grayling on the way to the Upper Peninsula we Googled places to eat. Spike?s had good reviews so we gave it a try. I?m glad we did. Cool atmosphere, quick and friendly service, and the foodwas good. Found a new place to regularly stop when we pass through.
