Was Heather S at Wheelhouse a mag?
The food was AMAZING! My husband had the steak and I had the chicken fettuccini. We also tried their clam chowder, it was also amazing. Our waitress did a great job too. Highly recommend when you are visiting the South Beach area. View all feedback.

What John B dislikes about Wheelhouse:
The restaurant is clean, food was pretty good, our waitress however was horrible. She basically did the bare minimum, and she told us they had a military discount and forgot to apply it. She realized as she had my card but pretended not to remember. She never got us water or offered any other drinks. Basically took our order, delivers food, and gave the bill. She was not rude, just seemed off, uninterested. View all feedback.

Our food was really good. Prime rib dip with fries. Clam chowder was exceptional! Waitress was a bit slow or I would have given 5 stars. The owners are great. We spoke with the gentleman for a bit. The wife was working hard to ensure everyone had a great experience. Love the stained glass lampshades and the overall decor.

Im lucky to have found this place. Everything was wonderful...from the service, comfortable atmosphere and completely awsome food. I had the biskets and gravy with a side of links. My brother had the french toast. All was cooked to perfection and tasted great, especially the sausage links...WOW. This is a crown jewel of great breakfast cafes!

Good food hours are Thursday thru Sunday 730-8:00 I think. Had burgers really good. Hubby had clam chowder enjoyed it.

The Seafood Fettuccine was fantastic! It was so generous that we couldn't finish it all. The Captain's Plate was cooked to perfection as well.

Our meal was truly enjoyable. I had the prime rib dip with fries, and the clam chowder was outstanding! The only downside was that our waitress was a bit slow, otherwise I would have rated it five stars. The owners were wonderful; we had a lovely conversation with the gentleman, and his wife was diligently working to make sure everyone had an excellent experience. I also loved the stained glass lampshades and the overall decor of the place.
