Pelham Arms - Gravesham

I visited for the first time on December 30, 2017, to see Pete perform, and it was a fantastic night! The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. However, the ladies' room could use some improvement. Overall, it was a first-class experience thanks to everyone involved!

I found a spider in my drink! When I brought it to the attention of the bar staff, they claimed it must have crawled in after the drink was poured and asked if it was there when I received it. Honestly, I wasn’t checking because I didn’t think I had to. I wasn’t looking for a free drink; I just wanted a simple apology. However, I didn’t even get that. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, which is a shame because they have some great bands. The bar manager's attitude was really disappointing!

During our one and only visit to this pub, we encountered a really unwelcoming landlady. It seems like it might be an okay place for regulars, but newcomers definitely aren’t made to feel welcome. The music was enjoyable, which is about the only positive aspect I can highlight after our experience here.

This is a lovely and friendly pub that offers entertainment every week. There's even a burger van in the parking lot! It’s the best pub in Gravesend.

I'll keep this brief: this was the best Sunday roast we've had in a very long time. The staff were welcoming and attentive, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was wonderful.
