Unfortunately, my first experience at the restaurant was not great. The food was definitely overpriced and somewhat bland. The staff was friendly, but they hovered around the table too much during the meal.
Booked online, received confirmation email. Turned up to the restaurant and it was closed.
Forgetting it was Eat Out to Help Out Tuesday my friend and I tried to get a table in one of the restaurants in Bluewater. With no luck had a quick look on open table for some restaurants locally and the Panthean came up with a table free. Booked and made our way over. We was not disappointed! Two course set menu meal, a pudding from the main menu, two glasses of wine for £42! Even if it wasn’t Eat Out I would have happily paid the full price as the food was amazing!! The atmosphere was ok a little chilly as the door had to stay open but that was fine due to circumstances and the waiters all wore masks. Even had a little area/shop where you could buy some Italian foods. I’ll be going back!
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. It took a long time for our menu and beverage orders to be taken, and after 15 minutes, our drinks still hadn’t arrived, so we had to ask about them again. A gentleman, whom I suspect was the owner, was initially attentive but then neglected our table until he informed us that there was a mix-up in the kitchen and our main courses would take even longer to arrive. When they finally did come, one dish was incorrect. Our waitress seemed completely inexperienced and out of her depth. On a positive note, the atmosphere was lovely, the spaghetti bolognese was delicious, and the mussels were also tasty. However, my friend’s crab pasta was disappointing, lacking in flavor due to the minimal amount of crab meat.
