I was making a stop in this place to have a break before visiting the Rein Abby.During my stay I was having a talk with the owner in order to have some information about some hints in the region. The lady was leaving her work and was telling me much about the area I found this gesture very nice from her.The place is clean and tidy.I was feeling sorry that I was not able to stay for dinner hence I heard that they have... What Tibo Maréchal doesn't like about Gasthof Zur Linde:
we expect a good "steirischer gasthaus" with a good price performance ratio. Unfortunately, everything has not been unanimous here. the kitchens cannot keep with the trips. the salat has unfortunately been very deposited and too expensive for the miniature output. it fits here for me the service the kitchen and the ambiente not overpure. the foods have tasted good to everyone, at least they did not want to disappoint... We were looking for a restaurant on the way home near the a2 and were pushed onto the restaurant to the linde in rhein. the ambiente is in order, there is also a small garden. the chef can be seen in the kitchen when preparing the diners. the card is very ambitious. we have decided to have a slender with seasonal austerity. there was a wonderful kleks homemade sauce hollandaise. we eat well, but it was used for the filling of the fish-saving gel, which was very dry and woody. the lady in the service was nice and tried. in total everything was o.k., but not outstanding, but I felt the price for the main court with 23 euro as relatiw high. credit card is accepted thanks to God.
That the couple of Falb-Oberreiter runs the restaurant with passion and enthusiasm, you can also see that they do not buy their products in wholesale trade, but are based on regional, personally selected producers. cheese, fish, meat, vegetables and even the vinegar come from sustainable farming and have been selected due to their quality. this carefree also continues in the kitchen. every floor (and I recommend quite clearly a multi-course menu) is perfectly seasoned, cooked and beautifully dressed. one is looking forward to every bite and especially to the final, homemade chocolates. It is certainly not a cheap gas house with a component kitchen, but a top restaurant with a suitable quality for the offered. again!
The linde in pure enjoys among natives a good call - with the addition that this is locally a little expensive. Well, of course, there's something on both. with the quality of the offered we were 100% satisfied - everything cooked in perfection and lovingly dressed. just keep as you did 10 years ago, with balsamicore reduction on almost every teller apart from the dessert. but do nix, you don't go into a local because of the time spirit!

We spent a wonderful Saturday afternoon in the cosy, wine-spoken dining garden of the restaurant and were amazed at the great selection of outstanding and the long wine-card. you don't get to choose a multi-course menu and just stay. very attentive chefs who also personally came to our table (she is in service, he in the kitchen) and love waitresses. overall highly recommended.
