Grass Valley has two Flour Gardens to choose from. I prefer the atmosphere of the Brunswick location, but the sweet treats, coffee, and food are good both places. The downtown Flour Garden is a go to place to grab coffee and maybe a bagel for breakfast. View all feedback.
What Cedar Wilson doesn't like about Flour Garden Bakery:
Buy a bagel 2.75 want cream cheese on it 3.50 want butter on it .35 cucumber 1.50 want it actually toasted? You’re out of luck. ?Somehow I got a bagel that was 9.00 and not even good. I had ordered two and the lady rang me up for one which I thought was the normal price for two (would be more reasonable. when she realized she rang me up for one she was super rude like I didn’t say anything on purpose and goes “no tha... Why complain about a bake shop that sells day old goods for fresh prices. Why own a bake shop if you can’t make fresh items. It’s Saturday. Maybe the price is higher when it’s fresh. And to the young lady that lied and said it was fresh made everyday.I hope your day isn’t as stale as your bake sale stuff. Amateurs
I bought a turkey wrap 8,99), which had little turkey, and the bacon was substandard. And if you want a bagel with butter? Whipped butter is 2,25 extra. A pat of butter is .35. A one and done experience for me.
Way overpriced for where we are. A basic bagel with lox, cream cheese, and tomato cost over $15! All the toppings are a la carte, which I’ve never seen at a bagel shop. Come on guys, this is GV, not Manhattan. I’m sure other things they offer are great, but I have total buyer’s remorse
This place is hometown comfortable, I go there almost every day. Go there some times twice a day...
Nice place.Good coffee. We each had a different bagel and cream cheese. Thin, tough and strange runny cream cheese. I threw half of mine away.
