Chandara Thai - Grass Valley

Usually Thai near home. My daughter often visited Grass Valley and told me about Chandara and how good it was. She asked her to get me with shrimps. She gave me an order and some yellow curry. Drunken noodles slightly different from the local Thai restaurant I often but really good. Problem: Only four shrimps. Even Panda Express gives more. But overall good Thai food.

Nice atmosphere, good food and friendly service. Appropriate prices. I'm back.

Nicely presented and veggies perfectly cooked. Tasty, but the Pad se ew was without a hint of spice that I am used to in Thai food. Clean place and excellent service, but not spicy enough to satisfy my desire! The red curry soup was a *bit* spicer and very aromatic.

Wow, what a change. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is really nice and quiet, if there are not all the loud women sound like Harley motorcycles. The prices are reasonable, the employees are very warm and welcoming.

Pad see ew has always been my comfort food and I have ordered it dozens of times from many restaurants across the country. This was, by far, the best pad see ew that I've ever had!
