**Uncle Julio's: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** Uncle Julio's has garnered attention for its flavorful food and attentive service, with staff often praised for their professionalism and warmth. Many visitors have highlighted the cheerful atmosphere, making it a preferable choice for celebrations and gatherings. However, recent diners have expressed disappointment over rising prices and portion sizes. Guests noted the cost of small items like guacamole and margaritas was steep, and some found their meals underwhelming. While the service remains a strong point, potential patrons may want to weigh the cost against the dining experience, considering alternative options for better value in the area.

I've always enjoyed Uncle Julio's, but my recent visit was so disappointing that I’m hesitant to return. I was shocked by how high the prices have become! A scoop of guacamole now costs $9.50, and avocados are only $0.88 at the grocery store. I was also charged $12.50 for a "large queso," which turned out to be very small! To top it off, my order was incorrect; I asked for refried beans and received charro instead, and I requested corn tortillas but got flour. For just one order of chicken fajitas and a large queso—without any drinks and with the wrong items—the total was $45! This is absolutely ridiculous. I recommend checking out Anamia’s or MiCocina for better food and better value. Looking at the pictures, would you really pay $45 for this?

This was my second visit, and once again, my drinks were filled only an inch from the rim. Paying $13 for a margarita in a rocks glass that's slightly more than half full is quite disappointing. The food is tasty, but don't expect to leave feeling full. Everyone at the table thought we had received lunch portions by mistake, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case—you're lucky to get enough meat for two fajitas. I ended up spending $54 for a snack-sized portion of food along with two underwhelming margaritas. It just isn’t worth the trouble. I’d recommend checking out La Hacienda or Rio Mambo instead.

We recently had an incredible experience celebrating my son's 5th birthday with a chocolate piñata surprise. A huge thank you to Kevin and the staff – you all are fantastic and made us feel truly special. The food and atmosphere were outstanding as well!

Amazing margaritas! Excellent service. By far the best carne asada fajitas I have ever had! Will be visiting again!!!
