Contribute Feedback What Veronica Fernandez Miller likes about Shin Sei:
The chicken ramen was a good choice to try this place for the first time. I’ve had better ramens before but to be an airport meal, this was a good choice. Love the mushrooms and baby bok choy. Attention was also war and good. I do recommend View all feedback.
What Millard F doesn't like about Shin Sei:
Truly bad. Choices are essentially fried rice or ramen. Got the beef fried rice. The beef was grey on the outside and raw on the inside. It took almost 30 minutes to remake it with chicken. View all feedback.
Worst food ever. The employees were not great help either. Worst airport experience I’ve ever had.
I arrived at DFW today looking for sushi. Headed to the D terminal to Shin sei. Guess what? They no longer actually serve sushi! Their menu has shrunk to maybe 5 items and has zero sushi. This takes away our only sushi option for DFW. Had to board the train to hit up Pappadeaux. Sad.
Absolutely disappointing. Very unpolite and unprofessional staff.Food tasted like microwave food. What a waste of money.
The two stars are for the service even though the Asian employee only brought fork and spoon for the Beef Noodle Bowl, and I had to ask for the chopsticks. Ignored it since this was Dallas. But the real kicker was when I ordered the Beef Noodle bowl, the waitress replied that the beef would be about $5 extra. Hmmm. Strike one. Strike two the Noodle Bowl with Beef was not hot but lukewarm. Personally, I like my noodle soup hot. The presentation was pretty. Strike three the taste was bland. The beef was cut into cubes and had no flavor. I suppose it could have picked up some flavor in the soup, but alas, the soup was bland too. The restaurant is billed as pan Asian as in spanning many Asian (cuisines), but frankly based only on the Beef Noodle Bowl offering this is sans Asian flavor. The iced tea was good. Best to look elsewhere, but as my wife says, what were you expecting in DFW airport?
