I honestly don't even think this food was safe to eat. Someone needs to alert the health department. We are missing 2 whole sides. My Mac and cheese tasted like soap and the other Mac and cheese we received tasted like mold. Thechicken tenders barely have any chicken and are dry and impossible to chew. We didn't find this out until we got home (we alsolive 20 min away) and we called asking for a refund and the manager said that in order to get a refund, we'd have to drive allthe way back. They did not care that this would take us 40+ min round trip during a storm. Their only response was that theywere sorry we didn't like the taste of the food and that they had not gotten any other complaints that day. Looking over thereviews, I doubt that. I've worked in a restaurant before and that is insane. I've always been able to refund and order bypulling up the ticket info. We have not had this problem at a chicken express before.

No one responded to the mic a... read more I had a very frustrating experience at this restaurant. I was ignored by the employees for an hour and a half before closing time. No one responded to the mic at the drive-thru, so I decided to go to the side window. The staff member had his headset on, so he clearly knew I was there, but he completely ignored me after making eye contact. In an attempt to give them another chance, I visited a second time, hoping for better service, but I ended up with someone else's order that was nothing like what I had requested. I was really upset with the experience. After that, I regretfully tried a third time, and I can’t even blame the location anymore. They served me obviously microwaved fried pickles and chicken strips that were at least three hours old. Very disappointing overall!

The guy with the locs deserves a promotion—he offers amazing customer service, and the food is always incredibly fresh. I've never had a bad experience here. Skip the Southlake location and come to this one; it's not far and definitely worth the drive.
